I constantly get weirded out by the Animated DC films as they keep rotating the voicecast. They use well known people, and good voice actors, but the lack of some level of continuity gets to me.
I don't mind the new cast even when I miss the old cast.
Prime is... it borrows from Bay's films a little on the design and some dialog. It's close to that but without all the fail that is Bay's films. You can track the fight scenes and you don't get lost in 8 billion explosions. It's worth a shot, it has top notch voices, and if you enjoy Power Rangers you'll enjoy this. And while the kids are in the way as often as not, they aren't as obtrusive as the humans in the Bay films.
